This is not a regular sauna with someone waving a towel. It is a specialised, competition-grade Aufguss sauna, built to the exact specifications detailed by Aufguss.it: the Italian school of Aufguss. Large, and engineered for the craft: heat that builds and holds, airflow that carries the steam evenly to every bench, and the spacing a full ritual, and the dance of the towel, needs.
The experience
When the infusions begin, the room changes: the same dry heat transformed into something else entirely. At 85°C it is comfortable to sit in, until the Aufgussmeister pours the löyly, aromatic water and sometimes scented ice over the stones, and the humidity spikes, and the steam makes the heat land on your skin all at once. Then the towel work begins, driving that hot, scented air over you in waves (wind at changing speeds, set to music), so the heat, the steam and the aroma keep shifting. It is an intensely powerful sensory experience: immediate and hot, the sensation many compare to a hot stone massage. The master alternates waves of heated steam with sweeps of cooler air, so it builds and releases, builds and releases, multi-layered and textured, never one flat note. Heat, steam, aroma, wind, breath and rhythm, all at once, a whole different world from the dry room.

Some rounds begin with aroma-infused ice: scented globes set on the stones, so the fragrance releases slowly as they melt into the löyly and ride the towel’s wind across the room.
Our Aufguss school
The craft runs deeper than a single session. Our training programme is designed and taught by Aufguss.it, and we run our own Aufguss school here in Singapore, founded by the school’s own founders, on our own benches. It means the ritual you sit through follows the real form, the safety and the artistry of the European tradition, performed by people trained in it.
Founded with Riccardo Marzi & Enrico Ganassin
Our Aufguss is taught to us by Riccardo Marzi and Enrico Ganassin, the founders of Aufguss.it, the Italian school of Aufguss, and Aufguss World Championship competitors. Enrico took 2nd in the world in the singles at the 2014 Aufguss World Championship; Riccardo has twice stood on the World Championship team podium (3rd, 2014 & 2016). They set the specification this sauna was built to, for competition-grade performance, then broke ground on our Singapore programme themselves: the first Aufguss session in this room, and our very first clients.
The school we run here follows the form, safety and craft they teach.
Resident master Elisa
Aufgussmeister Elisa (currently competing, ranked 3rd in Italy in 2025 and 4th in 2026) has been our resident master for three months, bringing competition-floor craft to every session and to the masters we train here. She is with us through early July.
